RTS Group shortlisted in leading event awards

The RTS Group have been shortlisted by C&IT (Conference and Incentive Travel) Magazine in their annual event business awards – headlined as “The definitive B2B awards for B2B events”

C&IT Editor Susie Harwood said; "The C&IT Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the best B2B events delivered in the UK and overseas by top brands and their agencies.

From inspiring international incentives in far-flung destinations, to innovative internal communications conferences designed to engage and motivate employees, the C&IT Awards showcase best practice and innovation in events.

Our expert judging panel – handpicked to include event experts from the top brands, agencies and suppliers – will look for entries that can demonstrate both creativity and proven ROI across all 18 categories.”

RTS Group appear in the category Automotive Event of the Year, with the launch of the Toyota C-HR in Silverstone in late 2016.

RTS Managing Director, Malcolm Miller said; “We have been steadily building our event capability over the last few years and this nomination is proof that our focus on learning value from an event is the most important focus is the right path to follow”

Working with Toyota UK, RTS devised 3 clear stages to launch the C-HR, by launching an App pre-event so that all Toyota Retail Centre staff could share and comment on all the facts, the vent itself held at Silverstone’s iconic Wing building and followed up with a roadshow to every Toyota Centre in the UK.

Malcolm concluded; “Being shortlisted is a huge feather in our cap and our fingers are crossed very tightly for the results”

The winners in all the categories will be announced at a Dinner in London’s Park Lane Hilton on the 22nd September.


Gemma is RTS Group’s super-efficient central services manager, responsible for the facilities and internal organisation of the business – everything from the IT, mobiles and building maintenance, down to the photocopier and coffee machine. She also coordinates our sales and marketing activities, covering everything from proposals to looking after our website.

The life and soul of the central services team, before joining RTS Group Gemma was office manager at a computer company. Her first ever job was waitressing at a pub, where she saved £1,000 and bought her first car!

As a new mum, Gemma’s not got much spare time but does enjoy restoring old furniture. She’s also the ‘mum’ of the central services team and describes herself as “an energetic multi-tasker”.
